Become a Member
Participation in SEED is both competitive and demanding. In October, SEED solicits applications for the following year's team. SEED is open to all Virginia Tech students, but is primarily staffed by business students. The current team interviews the applicants and chooses the new members with the advice of the administrative and faculty advisors. The new team begins in January, and operates jointly with the previous team for approximately two months.

There will be two information sessions:
- Monday September 29th at 7:00pm in Holden Auditorium
- Tuesday September 30th at 7:00pm in Pamplin 2030
Applications will be due Monday, October 6th.
Interviews will be conducted from October 22nd to October 26th.
Membership requirements for SEED are as follows:
- We are taking approximately 14 new analysts.
- Must be able to commit until April 2010.
- Approximately 15-20 hrs. a week of outside work.
- All majors are welcome to apply.
- Applicants must currently have Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate standing to apply.
- Undergrad applicants must have at least a 2.5 overall QCA
- Graduate applicants must have at least a 3.0 overall QCA
- Applications will be taken beginning in October
- Candidates are required to participate in a formal interview process before receiving an offer of membership.
- New members are required to participate in SEED development training.
